We have two events going on tomorrow, Wednesday August 9!
From 12-3pm, Community BBQ & Market, at the Fridge (515 Lawrence Ave). This is aiming to feed people, and build community connections! Similar to Rutland PUP, there will be hot & ready food, as well as tables out for groceries and other home supplies to be shared out.
From 6-7pm, Open Meeting at Naked Café (571 Lawrence Ave). We will be discussing the current lack of fridge, as well as what organization needs to be in place going forward, such as getting some clearer, steadier volunteer roles in place to make this more sustainable, including communication and immediate support for when it’s needed.
